Beef Steak A La Tagalog

  • 6 slices tender steak
  • 1 tbsp calamansi or lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup sliced onion
  • Cooking oil
 

Marinate steak in calamansi or lemon juice, soy sauce, salt and pepper. Pan fry in about 2 tablespoons oil. When steaks are ready, remove from pan onto serving dish. Add about 2 tablespoons oil to the remaining oil in the same pan and fry onion until tender. Pile on top of steaks. Serve hot.
