Pancit Canton

  • 1 packet pancit canton noodles
  • 1/2 kilo pork
  • 1 chicken breast
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/2 kilo shrimps, shelled
  • 1 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1 cup snow peas
  • 1 cup cabbage, cut julienne style
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 1/2 cup sliced celery
  • Soy sauce and patis (optional) to taste
  • 4 chinese sausages, cut crosswise
 

Boil pork and chicken breast in 5 cups of water. When tender, cut pork and chicken into stripes. Reserve broth. Saute garlic in a wok untill brown, add onion and cook until transparent. Add the pork, chicken, shripms and the Chines sausage, saute for 5 minutes. Add the reserved broth and the noodles and simmer for 10 minutes. Add the vegetables, season with soy sauce and patis and cook until done.
